第86屆奧斯卡頒獎典禮落幕，結果總是幾家歡樂幾家愁，除了又與影帝擦身而過的李奧納多狄卡皮歐，還有一位悲情的入圍者：59歲的作曲家和指揮家托馬斯．紐曼（Thomas Newman）。
他今年以《大夢想家》第11次入圍奧斯卡最佳原創配樂獎，卻輸給《地心引力》，加上曾1次提名最佳原創歌曲，共入圍12次卻一獎未得，與多次入圍卻沒得獎的李奧納多可謂「難兄難弟」。紐曼的父親是「好萊塢音樂教父」阿爾弗雷德．紐曼(Alfred Newman)，紐曼家族共獲得88次奧斯卡提名。（郭妤／綜合報導）
